Pre-Conference Tour
Lindisfarne Anglican Grammar School, Gold Coast

24-28 September 2026

Discovery, Connection and Country

  • Cost per person AUD $900

  • Accommodation: Camp Goodenough Outdoor Centre - shared cabins and sleeping bags required.

  • Maximum 50 people (Inclusive of staff delegates).

Set between the majestic silhouette of Mt Wollumbin and the stunning beaches of the Tweed Coast, Lindisfarne Anglican Grammar School invites delegates to a four-day experience designed to challenge, inspire, and connect. All delegates are asked to arrive into Gold Coast Airport, where they will be warmly welcomed before transferring to Camp Goodenough.

Nestled in the rolling green hinterland, Camp Goodenough is a purpose-built outdoor education centre known for its welcoming atmosphere, beautiful natural setting, and wide range of adventure facilities. Surrounded by tall eucalypts and pockets of subtropical rainforest, the camp provides the perfect environment for students to develop confidence, practise teamwork, and step outside their comfort zones. High ropes courses, group challenges, open spaces for reflection, and experienced instructors help create a safe and supportive space for growth.

Throughout their stay, delegates will engage in activities that build resilience, ignite creativity, strengthen problem-solving skills, and promote independence. A highlight of the programme is a powerful On Country experience in Fingal, a place rich with thousands of years of Aboriginal culture, traditions, and knowledge. Here, students will deepen their understanding of First Nations heritage while strengthening their connection to the land.

From high ropes in the rainforest canopy to collaborative adventure challenges at camp, participants will test their limits while supporting one another every step of the way. On the coast, students will enjoy surfing sessions and a range of watersports—stand-up paddle boarding and kayaking through the peaceful mangroves of Cudgen Creek with the WaterGurus team.

The experience concludes with a memorable final evening at the Australian Outback Spectacular on the Gold Coast—a celebration of Australian storytelling, music, and culture.

This promises to be four unforgettable days of adventure, culture, friendship, and discovery in one of Australia’s most spectacular regions.
