Accommodation and Travel

Students will stay in homestays for two nights then in hotels. Students will be in twin share during the hotel stay.

Adults will be accommodated in double rooms as standard, sharing with other RSIC Adult delegates of the same gender. Those adults booking single occupancy will not be asked to share a room at any point during the Conference.

We ask that ALL delegations arrive into Sydney Airport by 12pm on 28 September 2026. We will be there to greet you in arrivals and bring you to Barker College.

Registration for the conference will be open between 10am–2pm. Bus transfers from Sydney airport will be offered at scheduled times between 8:30am -1pm.

Please note: Sydney airport is not a 24 hour airport. To arrive at Sydney airport on time to catch the last bus transfer to Barker College, your flight must be scheduled to land before 12pm on Monday 28 September. Should you need to arrive on an evening flight, you will need to arrive on Sunday 27 September and book accommodation at a nearby Airport Hotel.

Action: To ensure you are included in the airport pickup plan, please submit your flight details HERE. We cannot guarantee pick up for any school submitting details after 12 August.

Departure: Please plan to depart on 3 October 2026. Shuttle services will operate between 4am – 4pm to Sydney Airport.

If you are traveling outside the designated pickup and drop-off times, please arrange your own airport transfers.

Check if you need a VISA

Please check whether you and your students will need visas to enter Australia, and find out whether there will be any significant obstacles for your delegation before submitting your Registration. Please ensure that you apply for Visas as soon as you have selected your students to avoid disappointment.

Please ensure that the information needed is TYPED into the table on the Visa Invitation Letter and not handwritten.

Please ensure that you have checked what is required for your delegation (specifically minors travelling without their parents) to transit out of your country to Sydney. In regard to the 1257 Undertaking Declaration Form
